| Hyruken said: Me personally i do yes. Reason for this is simply down to history. Ps1 and Ps2 did so well sales wise it is strange to see the PS3 not even selling 30% of what one of those sold. We all put this down to various things but mostly down to price. People say if it had the same price as a 360 more people would buy a PS3. I tend to agree with that. So with the price of the PS3 and 360 now being close (25% difference, no longer 50%) i expect the PS3 to do much much better then it ever has. 360 went on to double it's sales in the deppested recession in memory after a price cut 12 months ago. The PS3 should at bare minimum beat it's previous sales records for the PS3. The next 12 months of PS3 sales should shatter the PS3's previous year sales. If it does that and Microsoft do nothing then Sony has a very good chance of taking 2nd spot. |
That's a very big if my friend. Let's wait at least until after MS's press conference before we begin predicting how this generation will play out.
