I think the PS3 sales will increase as more software comes out and I think FF13 would sell no matter what console it was released on. The worst selling FF game since FF6 was FF12 at 4.94 worldwide. Sunshine, Mario Bros. Melee, and Double Dash sold a million or more than FF12 on a console that did worse than the xbox in worldwide sales. Xbox just had Halo and Halo 2 that sold more than FF12, but they still had those without any Japanese gamers buying them. The N64 had 7 games that sold better than 4.94.
The 2 best selling FF games ever after FF6? The 2 that were the first to release on a console. Judging by how FF13 looks, I see no reason for that trend to stop.
PS: I would use the word "after" instead of "since" considering the common use of the word since to mean that the object you are talking about surpassed all but the one "since." Oh well, confusion corrected.
