Serious_frusting, I think you're being unrealistic. People don't seem to quite grasp how far ahead the 360 is.
I'm too tired to do calculations right now, but if I recall correctly (which I might not), I believe that the PS3 would have to outsell the 360 by 120k each week for 2 years to even catch up to it, much less pass it.
Either way, I'm sure the price cut and the slim will have a noticeable impact on sales. It won't pass the Wii or the 360 lifetime though, although it might pass the 360 temporarily.
