I'm tired of people tellin' me what games i should buy...
Nintendo's games are usually worth a full price, and give me entire satisfaction, but how many 3rd party games do offer me the same quality/price?
Some are worth a rental, some are worth a second hand purchase, and rare are the ones i'd buy day one... so far, after THREE years, the only 3rd party games matching Nintendo's quality are (for me of course) Little King's Story, De Blob, Okami and Resident Evil 4...
House of the Dead and No More Heroes were nice, but are worth 20/30 euros max, like many others, Mad World was too violent and i didn't like it at all, and the Conduit will be a future rental, not even a second hand purchase for me...
If 3rd parties want my money, they have to offer me masterpieces, and not games "nice", "cool", "decent", with only 5 to 10 hours of gameplay, shallow visuals, and few gameplay innovations... then we'll talk...
In a near future, the only ones comin' that could do it for me at full price are Muramasa, Fragile, Crystal Bearers and Monster Hunter Tri: all japanese games with very decent to high production values...
Most western devs are lazy and uninspired, and treat Wii gamers like they were all dumb, uninformed casuals buying dumb games or 2nd grade efforts: why am i supposed to support them, and give them my precious euros when there are so many other great things to buy in this world? I'm not a millionaire, and 99.9% of the humans on Earth aren't either...
