The first Uncharted was good, and it sold what it deserved however the 2nd Uncharted really does fix pretty much every short-coming of the first with the online multiplayer, better and crisper gameplay and a slightly longer campaign. It looks to be bigger better and more badasser in every way and a lot of games have been delayed from this year to next year and that leaves a bigger gap in the market for the title to spread its legs. It can expand the market beyond the first with the unique multiplayer and clinch both the original audience and a wider online shooter audience, with shooters being some of the best selling games this generation.
In short its the gameplay which will get a lot of people to play the game and IMO its the multiplayer which will get them to buy it and keep it.
