CoD4's Singleplayer is 5-6 hours...

Sure it's longer, but it's nowhere near as fun, at least not for me. I couldn't get into ESIV at all.

To be honest, I did not get into it either, after getting out of the sewer, I had to walk for half and hour to get anywhere, it just didn't appeal to me

 Same.  Not to mention everytime I'd open a door, I'd get arrested.  It was really annoying, so I just quit.
