According to Satoru Iwata, the effect Wii Sports Resort will have on hardware has yet to be seen for another 5-7 weeks. This trend usually occurs with his 'evergreen' titles.
Even though the Wii numbers are the lowest they have ever been, they are still on top. Also, we seem to be forgetting Japan, and Others, which recently have attained hardware boosts.
I think Nintendo may keep the price at $250 this holiday as well. If Sony didn't cut the price for a long time in the face of extinction (Exaggeration), why would Nintendo budge in the lead?
