Have you... ever even seen a wii?  Point and click, really?

Little white box... revolutionized the industry... motion controls that everyone is hastily copying...?

Anything?

If your only way of making things more impressive is by utilizing more impressive technology....

Can you really call yourself creative?

I'm going to say.... no.  In fact... that actually makes you the exact opposite of creative.  Relying on technology is the exact opposite of challenging.

In fact, these people seem like well... people who suck at being creative and hate challenges because they're upset they can't do the same things they've been doing with more power.

Only 1/10th of a game studio if that (by numbers) would probably be involved with the interface decisons. A programmer, 3d artist, sound artist etc would have no calling to even know how to program and design a Wiimote interface. If you're an artist, innovation is making a prettier picture. If you're a programmer, innovation is making a game run better and introducing cool features, theres no such innovation if they are working on a Wii game because the tricks are old hat, going through the motions stuff.

Once again... if your only way to be creative with something is for it to be more powerful... you aren't very creative.

If these people are already hitting a wall with ways to do stuff... they're probably not that creative.

There are plenty of games that use unique art styles that aren't overlypowered.
