Also one thing to keep in mind is that unlike the PS3 and the more expensive 360 SKUs, the Wii has been priced at mass market price since launch. Consequently I suspect a price cut for the Wii will have a significantly lesser impact.
It would appear that it's simply a matter of demand slowing down for the wii.
