I said this somewhere else on this forum.

When he takes real flaws in a game, large or small and blows them out of proportion he can be funny.

Sometimes though he just flat out lies or ignores major features that completely counter his complaints. When he does this he isn't funny at all.

The Conduit falls into the latter, nearly all the complaints he has in that 'review' only exist if you want them to and can be removed with the highly fronted customisable controls and options, something that he chose to complete ignore (probably for the fact they completely kill his complaints).

It wasn't funny.

It's still a mediocre game, and it's his job to be funny not an honest reviewer. Jon Stewarts job isn't to give us news either. Simply saying "This game is incredibly uninspired, and is only getting attention because somebody actually tried on the wii" isn't really comedy, even if you say it really fast. There isn't really much "wrong" with the conduit, there just isn't anything really "right" with it either. But again, that's not comedy.
