Have you seen the screenshots or videos?  Those graphics are not possible on the Wii.


And of course it's totally impossible to remake the graphics, regardless of how much money it would make.  It's getting to the point where if Square doesn't want FFXIII to be the poorest selling and earning installment since at least FFVII it'll have to be on the Wii. 

I'm not sure FFXIII will be on the Wii, though I am certain it isn't impossbile.  I think more likely Square will cut off development of the game early to begin FFXIV as soon as possible and focus on the spin offs.  I think they'll realize so few people will be able to play it on the PS3 anyways that putting out a shorter FF won't be detrimental overall.  They could also go Pokemon and say the PS3, DS, and Wii installments are three chapters of the same book, Gotta Collect Them All!!!
