If Sony does that, and 10 years from now, the only thing Sony fans can say is "Well, no one else taking the Playstation 5 seriously....but I can't wait for a new Ratchet and Clank" or "what do you mean the PS5 doesn't have that many good games? We have the new Uncharted, the new Jak and Daxter, the new Dark Cloud, the new (insert whatever franchise that would be whore out 1000 times by the time the PS5 comes out)", then I would hate them.
I like Sony the way it is because they continue to push for new IPs. I dislike Nintendo (since the N64) because all the do is bank on a new Mario or Zelda (when it comes to classic, traditional games)
