Capcom is expecting 2 million in this fiscal year for MH3, personally I think their predictions lately have been crazy, while earlier in this gen they were too conservative. That 2 million would really only include the initial shipment to western markets, 2 million would be realistic if it was a WW LTD number.
Capcom has been way off lately, Bionic Commando is only gonna make it about 1/3 of the way to the sales target, Dead Rising Wii is probably only get get about halfway there. Dark Void at 2 million is too high, and Lost Planet 2 at 2.7 million is also pushing it.
If my memory serves me right in the past they expected less than 2 million from DMC, less than 3 million from Resident Evil 5, 600k from RE: Umbrella Chronicles, and about 2 million from SF4. Those are realistic and fairly conservative figures.
