http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theft
"In criminal law, theft is the illegal taking of another person's property without that person's freely-given consent."

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/theft
(multiple variations of definition given)
"b : an unlawful taking (as by embezzlement or burglary) of property"

When you download / copy an iso your are "taking of another person's property without that person's ... consent". YES you are.

As I said many times, while you are making it sound better by following the strict difference of theft and copyright infringement as detailed by the world's courts, in general terms and the terms any non lawyer would use to describe the situation, it is theft.

Piracy is akin to theft. Pirates are thieves.

No you aren't taking someones property without their consent.

I don't think you understand what "take" means.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/take

Take can mean a lot more than physically remove the sole item.

"16. To obtain from a source; derive or draw:"

"1. To acquire possession."

You are taking the iso content as a copy.

To aquire means to take it

You acquire a copy from taking it.

Your reading the defintions wrong because you want to.
