PS3 + 360 could break even at least, but it doesn't help them in Japan where they'd be flushing their #1 franchise down the tubes. FFXII is whatever S-E make it. If they want to keep the franchise viable in Japan, and especially if they want to make boat-loads of money, Wii is a no-brainer. DQ on DS was unthinkable before it happened too. |
DQ on DS is a new and completely unique game. If it was made for the PSP first I doubt it would have been on the DS. Thank you, Wiigirl, for being realistic and admitting that FF13 will not be on the Wii. The worry for me is that it ends up on the 360 even though it would still benefit Sony more overall (because of Japan). FF13 will still make tons of money in Japan just like FF7 did being the first released on the console. The PS3 is a little cheaper in Japan and that game alone will convince Japanese gamers to get a PS3.
