I spent more time playing DK64's multiplayer than probably ANY other game that generation, period, and I've always thought the baddies in the Banjo games were a poor attempt at coming up with unique, original, and memorable characters.
DK64 feels a thousand times cleaner than either Banjo title, IMO, and the gameplay always felt more solid to me.
I never spent enough time with Tooie to really get a feel for all of its offerings, though, but what I did get to play, I didn't like as much as Kazooie, and I'm mainly just going off everybody else's opinions for why it beats Kazooie. =p
