we can't "prove" anything, we can just use common sense.  If you go to the store and they have PS3s, they are available online, and online tracking says that PS3 is in 94% availability there is no supply constraints.  Perhaps somewhere in the world the PS3 is supply constrained, but you could say that about any console.

Right and I have no doubt that this is corporate BS, but even if this was true, this is not nearly as aggregious as MS's pumping sales with BS numbers.
