WHAT BS. the ad clearly states the only exclusion is the two free dvds must be 34.99 or less. after talking to the 'manager' who obviously has no real power, I called the 1800 number, spoke to some tool who recited best buys 'policy' on the matter, its not a stand alone blah blah blah... of course the ad said NOTHING about it! so the xbox qualifies for the 5 free send ins but not the 2 extra, makes no 98u&(*& sense. i am pissed |
You know, if you have the ad, you can protest it and they have to honor it. Case and point - a Compusa ad had Crackdown at $17.50 and I went to Wal-Mart to get it for that price. Well, they said it said 50 percent off and they tried to weasel out of it. I was like 'Look, that's what the ad states ... call your manager ...' and they just decided to let me have it for the $17.50.
I am going Monday and get the deal. I will have the ad in hand and make a ruckus if I can't get my two HD-DVD movies. Trust me - they want to avoid a scene, especially when their ad isn't clear.
