Oh, I retract my statement. Flawless logic. So, Gran Turismo 4 was released in Japan near the end of 2004, and didn't even see its American/PAL release until February/March of next year (respectively). So, essentially, you're taking a userbase from before the game even got a worldwide release.

This is, of course, in comparison to Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, which has been out for about a year and a half (depending on what territories you consider, and whether or not I'm lazy).

But you're right, the comparison is flawless.*
