Actually that's not exact.

 

Blank Blu Ray costs under 2$ in Japan so the issue isn't the cost to write the Blu Ray.

 

The issue of cracking a PS3 is getting the PS3 to run unsigned code and that problem isn't so easy to solve...

That and downloading 30Gb for a game....
