Final Fantasy 8 was my favourite. Probably followed by Final Fantasy 6.
I think the thing I liked most about 8 was how much I wanted to live in that world. The adventuring, different cultures, and multithreaded plotline made the game a lot of fun to move through the story. It is also the only FF game where I didn't wish the encounter rate was lower (you can turn random battles off)
FF4 was good too, but I honestly really disliked the original because of annoyances which no longer exist in later versions of FF4.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
