I think that AC2 will sell less than the first AC. Of course I don't have a crystal ball, but I feel that AC was in the right place at the right time to sell a lot of copies.
Now of course I could easily be proven wrong if AC2 can get some serious hype and advertisement blitz around the holidays. A lot of people bought AC, but there definitely wasn't universal praise for game.
Like someone else posted before, there are strong feelings about AC and a lot of them weren't positive.
