 So you are arguing that two wrongs make a right?  In any case the fact is that the european immigration was a long time ago and nobody alive today took part in the things that happened then.  So this idea that we are hypocrits for not adhering to a policy that we had no part in implementing, enforcing, or creating is folly. But when we boil it down to the basics this sort of argument is just a distraction from the real issue. 

If you recognise the sovereignty of the US, then your argument is moot. If you don't then you can enjoy a long life in frivolous pursuit of a an unattainable goal.  But in the mean time the immigration issue is something we can change.
