Really? I've been gaming since the 2600. I'll give you innovation with Sega (going above 2 action buttons, trying to extend the life of a system, color portable gaming, use of disk media), but what has Sony done for innovation? Sega and NEC used disks well before they did, the dualshock was copying ideas from Nintendo (thumbstick and rumble pack), and the games that helped the systems take off were 3rd party games, not Sony's own doing.
