But in the end revenue is what matters more than unit sales, especially since they make more money on Blu-rays than DVDs. It is eventually going to take over, Blu-ray is already starting to see exclusive releases which will speed up the process. This holiday season will show a huge switch to Blu-ray, with player prices dropping rapidly, and media to follow.
