Does the conduit really look worse than Doom 3 and Riddick on the Xbox?

Engine and technicall achievment is way better, but The Conduit lacks art style. It is ugly and has repetitive environments and for me that makes a game ugly with bad graphics.

Also, first Xbox has HD cables? How come?
