To be honest, I don't want it to be fake. Zelda needs to become something better, move on from the Ocarina of Time style of gameplay. I know that we all love this style of gameplay, but it's missing something that A Link to the Past and OOT did for their respective times and that was the "WOW factor."
ALttP just incorporated everything that was good from 2D games (I'm talking length, replayability, music, etc.) and perfected it the Zelda way, then OOT brought everything that was good from ALttP and changed it for the 3D world. With the Wii, I'm expecting Nintendo to bring everything the Wii can offer to the Zelda universe.
