Now I' m going to make a wild guess of 15% of gamers from HD consoles are females. The console base would go like this:

Wii total excluding Japan: 21,800,000

360 total excluding Japan: 25,670,000

PS3 total excluding Japan: 16,745,000

with some rounding. So the 360 is a better market individually for male oriented games and the HD twins are definitely better than just the wii.

You don't need to, Nintendo released information which showed a rough 50:50 split in their userbase.

Not sure about HD consoles, bit IIRC its 30-40% girls.
