Why doesn't Nintendo make a Pokemon Super Smash Bros.?

When I started playing Brawl, I thought the exact same thing. I would buy a game like that in a second. Pokemon Stadium is fun and all, but it's still turn based, so it's not the same as the Smash Bros. experience.
