Although the price does limit the number of games I buy, I think the overall price is generally fair ...

Many of the virtual console games are still very enjoyable high quality gaming experiences that offer 10 to 40 hours of gameplay for $5 to $10, and when you look at it on a per-hour basis most of these games cost about $0.50 for every hour of gameplay.

This is generally right. I got the original Legend of Zelda for five dollars and played through it the right way - drawing my own map and whatnot - and even given how simplistic the game was, it was easily an experience worth twenty dollars or more.

Show me somewhere else you can get Super Mario RPG for eight freaking dollars.

That's why I say it's BS to claim the games cost generally less. That's only true with some games.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
