I say 2009 the earliest. The Xbox has a great lineup that will keep the momentum going in the US quite some time. The PS3 has a price drop and know a price point where it can actually be bough by some. Sorry can't see that happen. Neither of both will catch the Wii, but both combined will be to strong for now.
