I'm looking forward to TCB because it's not following the crappiness of the original.
FFCC was mediocre. It had it's good portions but the extremely shallow battle system didn't keep me interested for long, and the multiplayer was not only inaccesible for most people but only adds so much to what's already shallow gameplay. Putting the multiplayer off to the side, the be REFINED like it was on the DS game, was a much better choice while the Wii game refined the lacking single player. Pulling apart a mediocre game and coming out with 2 good ones was the best thing they could have done.
Maybe once TCB is out, they'll shoot at another Seiken Densetsu-esque title like Ring of Fates was, this time on the Wii.
