Nice review, i feel like getting this game now, i havent played the Dragon Quest series, but i read somewhere this game was kind of bad, but is sounds like a great rpg from your descriptions seems like early final fantasy, but without the random encoutners, which just makes it perfect, graphically speaking its way better than the ff ports and many other games, it is 3D but it keeps the 2D feel though which makes it look real cool, im going to get it when its localized
