I wish the Conduit was more fun.
It was certainly a good first effort from HVS, but the single player is lame, and while the multiplayer does make it a worthwhile purchase, it seems slightly redundant with only online multiplayer. Imagine if the game was on PC, everything but the control scheme could be the same or better, and it would look like utter crap compared to the available competition.
It needed to take more advantage of the console it was on, and I mean in terms of design. The Wii is not a console you largely play on your own in a quiet room, it's a social console you play in the living room with your family/mates etc.
Here's hoping the Grinder proves me right in this.
