The current ones that are getting their stuff edited out are puppet accounts. They arent getting banned for the content of their posts but because the person behind them is perma banned.
Not sure if the mods edit other peoples posts, I agree with you they probably shouldnt apart from in certain circumstances (there are certain things that should be removed just because of what it is.)
