Anyway, if they are non intrusive, why not? Just take Project Gotham Racing. As you go round the tracks, there are obviously billboards, because they are real life locations, so having something MadCatz on them kind of makes sense, makes more money for the publisher and doesn't really hurt us. Same with most sports with advertising hoardings around the side, it makes sense to have adverts on there, especially if they are the right ones, because it makes it that bit more immersive. In PES 2010's Champions League mode, they have the correct adverts behind the goal, so it looks just right when you score that goal and see the Sony Bravia board behind it, because that's what it would look like if you were watching it on TV.
On the other hand, in something like Ratchet, if they had any proper ads, apart from the J & D billboards and the funny ads, it would just not feel right
