What do you think NPD and all the others are? Do you really think they are in every retail store in the world counting receipts? hahhahaa ROFL!!!
All retail sales tracking from any source that is entended to track an entire region and/or groups of different retailers has a large % that is essentially a smart guesstimation. That's the reason sales trackers in the same region never even match. They all have different ways of calculatiing the unknown.
If you come back eventualy and read this, I'd suggest a quick read about statistics and estimations.
