Pretty much everyone in this thread (except Majin) is saying that it was never announced. 

I hope you didn't waste too much time making that post to yell at an imaginary group of people.

You yourself said "why would they?"

Nordlead questioned the possibility of it ever happening.  Majin stated that there's no demand and therefore no reason (which can be assumed wrong given the aforementioned information).
