I disagree a lot (but way too much) with your point of view about Nintendo characters.
In my way of seeing things, Nintendo has made a rich variety of characters, and all of them has great personalities. Super Smash Bros Brawl and its selling numbers is the proof of that. They do have charisma and appeal.
Actually, they have so much appeal that we are picking in this thread for our favorite, and most of us can´t pick just one.
They are so great, that i decide to make a picture of Glass Joe and make it my avatar, just because he is awesome.
Just out of curiosity. Which Videogame characters have the personality that you are talking about?
