No big company ever stops designing new products - you can bet that each of the big three have been working on their next consoles since the current ones launched. Plans for them change often, but preliminary work would have started very shortly after Wii, PS3, and 360 launched, respectively. |
Yeah but if PS360 rise their sales while the Wii's are dropping, they won't stay there doing nothing.
I'm not sure Sony is currently working on a PS4, but the news here is that Nintendo affirms publicly they are working on their next console instead of keeping it secret as usual.
