Nintendo already saw XB360 price cut didn't hurt Wii and it's reasonable PS3 cut won't either.
This and also it knows MS has a few possible cuts left, and having already seen they don't even scratch Wii, it will use them in the fight with Sony for 2nd place, while Sony can only fight for 2nd place now, so it's not a close danger by any means.
So no need for Nintendo to worry next Xmas, it can still maximize profit margin, watching Sony and MS stabbing each other and, just in case, plan price cuts and other moves for Xmas 2010 if from the battle for 2nd place a clear winner emerges strong enough to cause concern. But should the winner in weekly sales be Sony, Nintendo can even cut price before Xmas 2011, as PS3 should fill the gap with XB360 and become 2nd before even thinking to start having a very remote chance to aim higher.
And in the quite likely case the fight for 2nd place ends in a tie, even less reasons for Ninty to worry, it would just lose most chances of reaching 50%, but its first place would be consolidated, a cut would be eventually needed very later, but with no reason at all to hurry.
