Well let's not get carried away, it is still 417k away from 1 million and this is not a PSP MH title. That said MH3 numbers completely tore apart sales of the PS2 games since the franchise has become huge since then. If all goes well for MH3 is should pass 1 million a month from now but I don't expect anything more than 1.2 million lifetime unless it gets some of the PSP MH legs which is possible.
It will be the first HOME console of this generation to pass 1 million and the highest 3rd party seller. Will be beaten by FFXIII this year but those two will be far ahead of the other 3rd party sellers.
