I think it's better for 3rd parties that Nintendo doesn't drop the prices of their games. Because if 1st pary games were cheaper most 3rd party games wouldn't have a chance to sell at all, cause all they have to compete against Nintendo is better prices.

Let me give you an example: WarioWare Smooth Moves is still $50, if it were a player's choice at $20 games like Raving Rabbids and other party games would have a very tough time at retail. As it is now, you could buy Okami & MadWorld for $20 each and save 10 bucks instead of buying super paper mario for $50
