sianr, you can't use ratio of userbase to figure out the sales, GT5 i think will sell at least 6 million lifetime, max 10 million, probably 7-8 million.
And yes half of the people who are PLANNING to buy GT5 already have a PS3, [guessing you are one of them] because otherwise you seem to be expecting 1 million hardware sales in the first week, and 300k hardware the week after [or basically, increased hardware co-inciding exactly with the software sales]
remember i said "planning to buy", that doesn't mean that all 5mil current owners are getting GT5, [making 10mil game sales] it means probably 2 or so million current owners are planning to get GT5, with 2mil more planning to get it before/on/shortly after GT5s release, with the rest of the customers of the game just picking it up [ie they will buy it, but they dont know it yet]
