@Squilliam. Yes, granted there are some good points. This holiday season will be an important test for Nintendo. The focus of my criticism was on the way the journalist implied that Nintendo has no strong titles in its immediate line-up, and I think that point still stands. My thread title is probably a little bit guilty of a similar shameless attention-seeking as the author's headline...

@madkiller I don't think you'll make yourself many friends by calling forum posters either chilldish or uneducated. Most of the people I've met on this site fall into neither category.

We don't know but the author of the article might be lot closer to the typical Wii audience then any of the people obssesed with gaming to the point of joining games sales website and forum. So just becouse we can tell half the incoming lineup for all platforms in the incoming months it doesn't mean joe the average knows about them.

If only there was some sort of article where news of this sort could be passed onto Joe Average. Perhaps people who are good at keeping journals could research it and then publish their journal entries on a wide scale. If that takes off maybe we can try to digitize these logs up onto the web and pass it onto millions of people all at once! No, that would never work. Better to just accept that this journalist can't be expected to inform his readers of anything. Wait...
