I have owned Nintendo 64, Gamecube, GBA, and now a DS and a Wii. I plan to get a 360 next year, and if my dad ever needs a blu-ray player, I´ll convince him to get a ps3, also to get MGS4 (never played one of the series but I´ve heard very good stuff about it), a Kingdom Hearts game if it shows in there, and maybe Lair, controlling a dragon sounds pretty cool.
I usually get about 5-10 games per year, planning to increase that to 12-15 ( I get about 80 bucks per month by teaching my bro), and maybe borrow games from friends ( there are no game rentals in my country, and I´m against piracy. Half of them are likely to be Nintendo games, others will be third part games (Godfather will be one of them).
I think Godfather hasn´t sold that well because 1) An important part of Wii owners are non-gamers, or not so hardcore ones, and a game like Godfather is definitely not aimed to that market. Most ps3 owner are more "mature" gamers, and probably ps2 owners. They´ll probably buy most games that are like GTA, until its arrival during october.
2) The praise for Godfather controls has been made specially by reviewers and game forums, and I´m pretty sure most of console owner don´t check those places.
3) It is a port, so most people who really wanted it already owned it on ps2 or 360.
