How is dying from inaction any more natural than a person healing another one? Aren't we all part of nature, and by extension everything we do? I really dislike this false natural/artificial distinction. Why do some of us pretend man =/= nature?

First, I wasn't taking any stance about the healing. And yes, any intelligent person can see that it's obviously not the case that 'they let nature have it's course' like I said (since they were actively praying for a divine miracle). So perhaps it suggests I was just trying to make a point to FootballFan's murder accusations, right?
So I may have not been completely serious, but it still doesn't mean I was joking (but it was a third option, I was making a point).
And my point about inaction bares relevance. Let's say you as a by-stander witness a guy being beaten to death. The law doesn't require you to stop it. In fact, I don't think there's laws against people not helping wounded they stumble upon in a traffic accident (unless they were part of it of course). Not that the case father-child is exactly the same, but it's definately not murder, that's for sure.
I dislike the mythification among the general populace about some magical distinction between natural and artificial as well, although I'd say there still is a difference, it's just not that black and white.
