By Mature, I enjoy games that have complex themes like Kojima's or Suda 51's (but I haven't heard that many great things about his DS games).  I do however like the art in games like Castlevania or fighters that offer fan service featuring attractive female characters in short skirts or bikinis.

Well, I've always found Kojima's script in MGS games a bit too dramatic and unnatural (like soap operas or hyper patriotic movies), but he definitely got a talent and I like his sense of humor :D If you like it as well, you'll enjoy Ace Attorney's writing (Shu Takumi), especially earliest titles. BTW Hotel Dusk script is very good as far as my knowledge of English goes, though plot not very original to my liking, but still fun to read. Not familiar with Suda51 except for NMH and killer7, but the first game isn't that spectacular on that field, and speaking about killer7... well, the man got very twisted sight of reality that for sure, bit I didn't get this game at all :/

Overall hunt down for adventure and RPGs game, if there any 'themes' in games - those are the prime examples due to the fact, that they're usually text-heavy (didn't like TWEWY script, but there's some kind of message being sent in the name of the game and ending... you should check it for yourself). But, you know, at this point games not that type of media that usually have 'mature' themes compared to, well, more 'mature' media, like cinema or literature :) wrong media, in other words.

UPD: Among adventures games on DS there's a hidden gem. Time Hollow has an interesrting gameplay feature... a butterfly effect. That was fun to chage a present day by time travelling to your past (maybe a little tedious sometimes), but overall script is just... meh :(
