Adventures: Ace Attorney series, Hotel Dusk, you may check Broken Sword port as well, Prof. Layton for more puzzle rahter than adventure oriented gameplay.
RPG: TWEWY obviously, Mario & Luigi 2 (or wait for Mario & Luigi 3 - it looks very promising), check SMT: Devil Survivor, Fire Emblem and FFTA2 for tactical experience, you may check Chrono Trigger port as well.
