Nintendo on why hardcore titles can't sell on the Wii (and a question)

The reasons past core games on the Wii don't sell too well is because of one of these reasons, or even two or three:

1. They're niche.
2. They're new IPs.
3. They're way too short to justify the price.

How would most people know it was too short? Studies have shown that on average...

A person who has a good experience with a product will recommend it to 3 people.

A person who has a bad experience with a product will tell 10 people not to purchase it.

 

MadWorld and The Conduit were both new IP's, both were short and have a look at their covers if you don't think they look niche. I can't see how anybody would look at The Conduit's cover and think it was high quality..

That's why I love my Gamestop Special Edition version so I don't have to look at that cover...
